Paddling (kayak) 3:32:00 [2] 13.6 mi (3.8 mph)

Paddle the Mississippi from Palisade to SH-169. A little more regular with less downed trees than the section above. Clay soil was messy. Also spent a little time paddling up the Willow River, a clear stream from 2-18 inches deep, and moving a couple mph.

Bike back to the car at Berglund Park, after stashing the kayak. Mostly gravel road.

Quick ride around bike trails with Ian. Stopped at the swimming hole to meet everyone else and wish gearjunkie a happy birthday.

Morning paddle around Savanna Lake and up the river, over both beaver dams.
