Since I got back from Colorado, I've run two events at race pace - last weekend at Nerstrand, and OTNT Catan style. Both times, I've felt like my foot speed is considerably better than before - a sense of "flying" through the terrain. I've not sure if this is merely an impression, or actual speed benefit - but the subjective difference is really noticeable. Either way, it's something I'd like to maintain, if only because it feels more effortless than many courses I've run earlier this year.

But to play devil's advocate - I also lost to Owen by about the same margin as I always do. I've got them for the last race, but I wish he would post splits regularly!
