MTB (road) race 1:35:00 [4] ** 20.9 mi (13.2 mph)

Team Mountain Bike (pfc and Dre) takes 2nd place at the GJ Alleycat! Fun course, thought I would be late but made it in time and teamed up with Andrei. Had 12 clues, 2 of them fake for April Fools Day.

Started with a long ride down Portland to Powderhorn, and as we were leaving the first clue, saw Tom, Biz, Dan and Stanley riding down 31st. Somebody braked hard to turn down 12th to go to the clue, and framed in the intersection, we saw Stanley pop an ass wheelie and go over. We stopped on the way out to see if was OK, but it looked like his shoulder took the brunt of the fall, he was standing and talking, and he ended up finishing the course. Good news there.

The rest of the course was fast and fun, Greenway, around the Lakes, and a dogleg to Nokomis. We were battling with several other riders along the parkway, and took a not-great route back to the finish at 46th and Grand to find we were 3rd or 4th in. An awesomely bearded guy named Alex won, and we ended up 2nd because One of the guys ahead of us missed a CP.

Food, beer, firepit and bike nerds to talk to afterwards. Good night! See Andrei's log for the GPS route.

MTB (road) 25:00 [3] 6.0 mi (14.4 mph)

Ride back to my car at the start, 46th to Park, downtown and across the Stone Arch Bridge.
