Pacing Erin. All went as planned. When the temperature jumped up our pace dropped a little. I was very impressed that she could do this without any training runs over 10 miles. She did orienteering over 10 miles, but I don't think that is great training for a road race.
My right hip hurt %100 of the race. It didn't keep me from running and I ignored it till she increased the pace over the last mile.
Heart rate climbed steadily after the temperature climbed.
