Sunday Jan 21 #

11 AM

Hike 2:26:14 [3] 5.21 mi (28:04 / mi) +1011ft 23:43 / mi

Heavy, wet, slushy snow underfoot; quite the lower leg workout. I kept getting snow and ice balled up on my trail crampons, which isn't all that different from trying to maneuver across a boulder field, so I guess I'll chalk it up to good training. :)

Saturday Jan 20 #

2 PM

Run (road) 49:14 [4] 5.02 mi (9:49 / mi) +201ft 9:27 / mi

It was SO nice to run on bare roads for a change, but I'm still waiting for my legs to come back. This felt almost like race effort. Boo.

RSO Base6 Bootcamp, first 13 minutes of Day 2 (planks). Yup, still hard.
6 PM

Run (road) 35:53 [2] 3.31 mi (10:50 / mi) +147ft 10:24 / mi

Hard to believe it's possible to overdress for a run in this weather, but here we are. Legs felt ok.
