Saturday Feb 3 #

3 PM

Hike 1:47:07 [2] 5.55 mi (19:18 / mi) +921ft 16:41 / mi

Nice afternoon hike at Hunter's Creek with Jerkface. We started later than expected (without headlamps) so we were motivated to keep the pace/effort up to beat sunset. Wet feet by the end.

Friday Feb 2 #

Run (treadmill) 28:03 [3]
shoes: Altra Escalante (Black)

Quick and easy progression from 6.0 to 7.2mph. Surprised how good my legs felt. (Pleasantly.)

Strength 22:00 [3]

Did the on-the-ground portion of RSO Base6 Bootcamp, Day 2. Lots of planking. I was able to complete the entire workout with only one rest, but I worry that my form leaves something to be desired. I need to figure out a way to catch myself "cheating."

Run (road) 30:38 [3] 3.01 mi (10:11 / mi) +150ft 9:43 / mi

I'm not sure if I had the flu or just another run-of-the-mill flu-like virus, but today's the first day I've felt much like moving since Friday afternoon. Fevers are no fun.

Took it intentionally easy; wind was brutal for the first half but quite welcome for the second. Nothing felt too awful, save for the choking-on-snot drama (sorry, or you're welcome?) - I'll take this little run as my green light to start Doing Stuff again.
