| Neepawa long selection race. Not a very good race, huge 13:00 mistake on #2, 3:00 on #3, 6:00 on #5 and 4:00 on #10. What a beautiful day out with a high of +26, but not used to this kind of heat yet, as this was the warmest day since September 15, 2006! |

| With about 15 Roller Sports Manitoba members at Birds Hill Park. Did 2 loops of the park, on the 1st loop I fell again, near the west beach road! While in the pack there was a hard push from behind. I was not expecting this; made contact with the person's skate in front of me and the next thing I knew I was on the road. Now I have some more scrapes, this time on my left butt cheek. |

| From Fort Whyte to Grant Ave. and Chalfont Rd. through unmarked paths in Assiniboine Forest. Nice to get a draft along the path/farmers field behind some woman. Then we took different routes through the forest and I never saw her again. Was stopped at the lights at Wilkes Ave. and McCrery Rd. for about 0:10. |
 | Inline Skating race 19:50 [5]6.19 km (3:12 / km) | |
| |
| Spent about 1:30 in the transition zone. From Chalfort Rd. and Grant Ave. to Shaftesbury Blvd., along the bike path Corydon Ave. and through Assiniboine Park to the east side. At the start you had to walk across a muddy area. I did that ok, but then after stepping on the paved path I slipped on some gravel and gashed up my left knee. But I sprung up and continued on in a surprisingly small amount of pain. I later had to stop at the lights at Grant Ave. and Shaftesbury Blvd. for about 0:20 and has to stop along the bike path for about 0:30 to tighten loose bolts. |

 | Cycling race 33:43 [5]15.25 km (2:13 / km) +15m 2:12 / km | |
| |
| Spent about 0:15 in the transition zone. From Great West Life along Wolsley Ave., Wellington Cr., Park Blvd. N, along the bike path by Corydon Ave. and Shaftesbury Blvd., Wilkes Ave., McConnell Rd., Flicklestein Rd. and along the Fort Whyte trails. Shortly after starting the bike I caught a guy who was waiting at the traffic lights at Wolseley Ave. and Maryland St. We alternated drafting all the way to the south east entrance of Assiniboine Park. You had to go through a tiny gap in th fence to get on the bike path, but the bone head course marshal didnt direct us at all. We both slammed on our brakes when we noticed that the road gate was closed. Then I heard the marshal saying "you have to come back here". So, I turned around and lost about 0:15. The guy I was with tried to go another way and was successful, but I think he has trouble getting his lip-ins on, so I surged past him. I got stopped by the light at Grant Ave. and Shaftsbury Blvd. for a short time, but the guy was still well behind me. The biggest scare of all came with about 600 meters to go when while carrying my bike across a ditch my chain come off, but I managed to get it fixed within 0:10. My goal for the race was 2:10, my time was 2:06:05, so I was happy with that. I ended up in 4th/37 in the Individual Male Category, 0:03 back of 3rd and 1:28 back of 1st. |
 | Rock Climbing race 2:00 [2] | |
| |
| Verical Adventures set up a portibal climbing wall at the finish line. To get an official time you had to climb to the top of the 10 meter wall and touch the top. This part of the race was not timed. |
