| Two head to head races of an obstacle course. The course went like this...skate from one end of the ice, drop and touch the ice at the first markers, quickly get up and jump at 2 foot marker within 5 meters of being on the ice, turn right (1st run) or left (2nd run) around 2 markers, turn back towards the start/finish, do a 360 at the last markers and state to the finish at the Red Bull arch. On my first run the guy I was racing beat me by less then .05 seconds, but on the second run turning on my better side (left) I beat him by .7 seconds with a time of 13.73. Winning time was 12.43 and fifth qualifying time to go to Quebec City was 12.81. Lots of fun and happy with my time, but I would have liked to go to Quebec. Placed 32/74, .92 seconds back of the 5th qualifying time. |
