| I competed in a much smaller number of major events this year, so I will do my top 3 events of the year. These were based on level of competition, quality of maps and courses and the general orienteering experience.
1. Moose Creek Splash/2007 Canadian Team Trials (west) Bragg Creek/Seebe, Alberta
Great organizatin, maps, terrain and a high level of competition.
2. Canadian Orienteering Championships, Saskatoon/Duck Lake, Saskatchewan
Well done job by the SOA crew, especially since it was the first major event in Saskatchewan. 3 World Ranking Events in some challenging small depression terrain.
3. Colorado 5 Days, Peaceful Valley/Woodland Park, Colorado
Great maps and courses. Physically challenging courses with the competitions between 2,666-3,100 meters above sea level. |

| Met my goal that I set in October to run over 1,000 km. Passed this mark where the bike path turns right and then ends east of Assiniboine Park along Wellington Cr. |
