I competed in a much smaller number of major events this year, so I will do my top 3 events of the year. These were based on level of competition, quality of maps and courses and the general orienteering experience.

1. Moose Creek Splash/2007 Canadian Team Trials (west) Bragg Creek/Seebe, Alberta
Great organizatin, maps, terrain and a high level of competition.

2. Canadian Orienteering Championships, Saskatoon/Duck Lake, Saskatchewan
Well done job by the SOA crew, especially since it was the first major event in Saskatchewan. 3 World Ranking Events in some challenging small depression terrain.

3. Colorado 5 Days, Peaceful Valley/Woodland Park, Colorado
Great maps and courses. Physically challenging courses with the competitions between 2,666-3,100 meters above sea level.

Sunday Dec 30

Running 1:38:05 [1]16.74 km (5:52 / km) +55m 5:46 / km
shoes: Vasque Blur
Assiniboine Ave., across the Assiniboine Park footbridge. To the footbridge 31:52 (5.52 km.), 0:02 slower then December 17th, down the bike path to the west end of Assiniboine Park, Commissary Rd., through the south Zoo parking lot, South Dr., around the Formal Garden loop, Wellington Cr. and across the Maryland St. Bridge.
Note
Met my goal that I set in October to run over 1,000 km. Passed this mark where the bike path turns right and then ends east of Assiniboine Park along Wellington Cr.
