With MrPither at Grand Beach Provincial Park. Each ran a different course, alternating leading. Some nice open forest areas in the east central part of the map and some thicker areas in the south part. Visited 34 control sites total.

Back from North Dr. and Oakenwald Ave., Wicklow St., Point Rd., Pembina Hwy. and Stafford St., 36:01 (6.72 km.). Groin/knee started to hurt on the way back near Grant Ave. and Stafford St.

At the Kelvin track with the RSM group. 8 laps warm-up of the 333 meter track.

Tuesday May 6

With the RSM group from the Chickadee parking lot to the Cedar Bog parking lot and back 2 times.

3 loops of Birds Hill Park with the RSM group. The group stayed in a pack until the hill and then some of us broke away. I ended up drafting some people on bikes who were participating in the duathalon. Some guy told me to "jump on" near the campground entrance on the first lap, so I did and stuck with him until the end of the second downhill and then drafted some other bikes for the rest on the first lap and second lap. A lady with a speedometer said I was going 42 km./hr, 50+ on the downhill.

Sunday May 4

Hartney long selection race. Made a 1:00 mistake on #2, 4:30 on #5, 1:30 on #9, 1:00 on #11 and 3:30 on #15. Was happy with my running speed this weekend. At times I think I ran too fast, not knowing exactly where I was, which was the case with my large mistake on #5.
