Klajuno Maratonas 2017

was nervous all morning - of starting warming up and realizing that no, today legs wont do it. and i would not have a way back - long course ahead...
started warming up - and all good, all fine. but once started running on the soft forest ground.....already to the first control got tired. so kept running but slowly trying to postpone walking mode as far as possible. had no clue how it will go - dont remember ever running such long course.
from 7km started feeling really good, got into rhythm, but didnt dare to increase speed - kept same. from 12km started to feel tired. from 14km (2hrs) really really tired. but still kept running.
did two mistakes - both because green on the map was not green in reality. by one "green" was standing for few minutes, checking compass and trying figure out what is this because yellow i had to reach is in different direction and different shape, and yes - it was one of the green, not my yellow yet.
and also made mistake to last control - waited to cross proskyna, which on the map was just north line.....

really happy that decided to go there - was very good training.

went smoothly, was running control after control, few hesitations, but all good.
