trails at the VA. Humid as hell. My hips hurt too, then I took some ibuprofen and they felt better. I would rather not have to take anything to get through a run though. I might see about making an appt with a chiropractor in the area.

Kind of a crummy run at the Ridge. Everything was tight. I attacked my legs with a foam roller when I got home. My left it band hurt like hell. I might have found why my left hip hurt so bad yesterday.

Walk on treadmill at 10% grade. It's a starting point. After last weeks strength workout debacle I'm only going to do dynamic type strength workouts, ie hill repeats, incline treadmill, yoga. I don't think I play well with weights.

i did my required trail work in the morning on the Ice Age Trail for Wasatch. After that I went to the Nordic trail to do 12 mi. I stopped at 9 because i felt like crap, like my legs were going to rattle apart. I guess I'll give it a go again tomorrow.

Well, it's no surprise that doing walking lunges yesterday made me so sore today that work and running was a challenge. I'm determined to be a tough son of a bitch this summer and grit my teeth and bear it. So, that's what I did.

Rain! We needed it so bad. It was fun to run in a downpour too. I haven't done that in awhile. I was struggling getting out the door today. I had a niggling left glute and digestion issues going on but all was resolved on the run.

Kettle Moraine 100. It was perfect weather. 70's, sunny and a cool breeze, with a full moon at night. Everything went off without a hitch. It all seemed a little too easy, but then it got hard. I missed my A goal but got my B goal by a nose hair. A good time was had by all.
