Not a bad time for a half marathon on the fly with a few or five good hills thrown in and running in a fair amount of slippery slush. I felt really good. I expected my legs to feel heavy after my tempo run and lower body workout yesterday but the opposite was true. It felt like I was cruising with very little effort.

Headed out for 10 mi but I cut it short because my foot was hurting a bit too much. I wore compression socks today, could those be the problem? I've had crappy runs before while wearing them. I'm going to say yes.

Yoga class: we worked on getting into hero's pose. A lot of ankle, hip, and quad openers. It's just what I needed.

Cold but sunny. My right calf is still tight. I had to stop twice for stretching, other than that it was a great run and I felt pretty good. I think it might be time to make a pair of screw shoes though. Now that my injury is nearly gone I don't want to twist an ankle or something on the ice.
