Running (roads) 2:25:00 [3] 15.34 mi (9:27 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara

Ran the 11mi loop up Deerpass/Collins and back plus a 4mi loop. My hips and back started hurting horribly on the way down Deerpass and made the rest of the run nearly unbearable. I think all my hard running this week is catching up with me.

Now that is why I suffer through winter training! For runs like today. After this weekend I was a little afraid about my upcoming race but now I think I'll be ok.

Yoga 1:30:00 [3]

Yoga class. I skipped a session and when I walked in my teacher was so happy to see me. It's nice to be missed but it's even better to be back going to yoga. Boy do I need it.

Running (roads) 1:11:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:52 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara

It was WINDY! It's unseasonably warm in IL right now but I always seem to forget about the wind being the great equalizer. First half was against the wind, and the second half it was at our backs so at least we got in a varied workout.
