Running long (road) 3:05:09 [3] 20.0 mi (9:15 / mi)

Ran on the IL prairie path South from Crystal Lake to East Dundee. Pretty even splits despite having a tail wind going out and running against the wind back. We saw a bald eagle too! It's been awhile since I've seen one of those.

Felt pretty good today. I'm thinking the lethargy of the last couple weeks is starting to fade away.

Running (roads) 1:34:30 [3] 11.0 mi (8:35 / mi)
weight:147lbs shoes: Saucony Kinvara

Legs still feel kinda tired, but I managed to bang out a good run regardless.

Ok, so I weighed myself before my run and I weighed 147. At the end I weighed 143. Does that mean I lost 4lbs of sweat during the run? Is that a lot?

Yoga 1:30:00 [3]

Yoga class: we did hip openers, which is always nice and greatly appreciated.

Cardio Machines 1:00:00 [3]

After this winter's bout of seemingly endless injuries for me and Ben we decided to take recovery after hard races seriously. No running until we feel recovered and rested. It might just drive us crazy or it might be something to look forward to after races, like our tradition of going to the pancake house after races to celebrate.

Strength 20:00 [3]

abs, and a tiny bit of hip flexor work

Yoga 27:00 [3]
