Rock Cut 20k. So if you look at my distance above, yes I got lost. I was totally cruising behind a bunch of people when we hit a trail with a bunch of runners who informed us we were on the wrong trail. oops. that sucked, especially since I was running so well today. I still beat my time from last year by 7 min and the day was beautiful, perfect weather.

I feel a lot better today. It was really warm out actually and I happened to be wearing my fav long sleeve tee that the sleeves can't be pushed up on. I guess it's time to start wearing a short sleeve under the long sleeve.

Dead, dead legs today

yoga class - we worked on feet and hero pose. There is a girl in class that is getting into running and I guess her feet hurt so she requested to do something on feet. I'm so itching to share all my running knowledge with this newbie but I'm afraid I will appear crazed and obsessed. I'll just keep my mouth shut unless she asks.

I decided to tempo this run out because I felt like running fast today and so I could fit in my tempo run this week and still have time to rest up for the Rock Cut 20k this saturday. I'm hoping to go under my 2:20 from last year and pick up some cash.

went up to the Kettle Moraine and ran the Ice Age trail from the nordic trail to Emma Carlin. The trails were still pretty snowy but runnable. I love that trail and I really needed a good run like that to set me right again.
