Running (trails) 3:10:00 [3] 18.0 mi (10:33 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Hot, hot, hot! I did feel good today. I would almost dare to say, back to normal. I did two loops at the nordic trail and the second loop was only 4min slower than the first loop. Not too bad.

Running (trails) 56:00 [3] 5.3 mi (10:34 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Pleasant Grove MCCD. Mostly wide cross country trails with some rolling hills. It's too bad there aren't enough of them to make it worth while to run there more. My foot started to hurt a bit from the wonky footing.

Running (roads) 1:47:00 [3] 11.7 mi (9:09 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara

The first 6 miles I felt good. Not really good, not great, but good. At least that's better than the worst run ever. At 7.5mi I started to get REALLY hungry and then I remembered that I hadn't eaten for 5 hours. So I pulled over to the side of the road and ate a bunch of berries. Not a bad solution I think. I'm happy that I'm starting to feel better at least. I was afraid that something was seriously wrong with me.

Running (roads) 1:46:00 [3] 11.22 mi (9:27 / mi)

Deerpass/ Collins route with Ben. I'm feeling a lot better today. I'm still a little on the slow/sluggish side but not so bad that I wanted to stop and walk like on Tues.

Running (trails) 52:52 [3] 4.8 mi (11:01 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Group run at VA. I still feel pretty low energy, but getting better

Running (trails) 1:18:00 [3] 8.0 mi (9:45 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia

Rock Cut group run led by Tanya. Man was she fast. It took almost all my concentration to keep up with her. I've let myself slip into ultra plodding pace lately so it was good to run with someone that was a bit faster. She said she was running 11 mi next Wed. I think I'll join her and try to keep up.

Running (roads) 1:29:00 [3] 9.0 mi (9:53 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara

Worst run I've had in a really long time. I'm hoping that I have a bug that my system is using all it's resources to fight off. That's the only idea I have for why my runs have been so completely shitty lately.

Running (roads) 1:32:00 [3] 9.7 mi (9:29 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara

tough run today. It was hot and I was a tad bit dehydrated.

Biking 2:35:00 [3]

Ben and I biked to the fireworks in Woodstock and back again. It was nice not to have to worry about parking and everything. Then the ride back at night was spectacular. All the fireflies were just as lovely as the real fireworks earlier in the evening. Yawn, big day. Time to go to bed.
