Running (trails) 3:37:00 [3] 22.0 mi (9:52 / mi)

2 loops and part of a loop at the Nordic trail with Ben. I wore my 100's for the first two loops and then changed for the last bit because my feet were getting tired. We ran the first two loops pretty quick and with even splits. I had full intentions of doing a third, but then I got tired and I said to myself "why do another one?" So I called it a day. I'm glad that it's the off season and I can do stuff like that and not feel too guilty.

One loop at Moraine Hills with Ben. Started off feeling not so hot but finished strong.

Running (trails) 1:42:00 [3] 10.3 mi (9:54 / mi)

Two loops at the ridge. I decided to wear my Peregrines one more time to see if it really is the shoes or just me. It's the shoes, I really don't like them. They aggravate my foot. It was a weird run otherwise. I think I had a migraine. When I first started running I couldn't see right. My head felt really heavy too. I stopped and took some ibuprofen and I feel better now, but the thing with my vision really freaked me out.

Running (roads) 1:07:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:22 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara

Same exact route as yesterday, same exact time. Today felt easier though. I went to my brother today and he worked on my calves. Everything should be good as new in a day or two when the bruising goes down.

Running (roads) 1:07:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:22 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara

I took the day off yesterday because my calf was incredibly tight and a tight calf, if left to it's own devices, often leads to foot/ankle pain. It still feels a little sore today but not too bad. I feel better for taking the day off even though a day without running seems like a horrible self inflicted punishment. Ben and I are signing up for the Phoenix Rock n Roll marathon in Jan, so I spent the whole run strategizing what my training is going to look like for the next couple months. I love that!

Coral Ridge loop with Ben. It was a really nice evening. My feet are a little sore from running so much pavement yesterday.
