Running (trails) 3:28:00 [3] 19.0 mi (10:57 / mi)
shoes: Cascadia 8

Ran to Emma Carlin and back. I ran into Dorn when I was heading into Emma and he said he would run back with me. We cruised in record time. It was a good run and the shoes worked great!

Running (trails) 1:51:00 [3] 10.2 mi (10:53 / mi)
shoes: Mt Masochist w/outdry

I had planned on going to the Kettle and doing a long run but then I saw that it was pouring and about 40 degrees out. I was going to keep it local in that case. I wore my montrails because they're waterproof but they're also so heavy! My hip was really stiff too. All the bending over this week at work really put it through the ringer.

Running (trails) 59:43 [3] 5.8 mi (10:18 / mi)
shoes: Cascadia 8

4 Group run at VA. My hamstrings are toast from planting at work yesterday. I love my new Cascadias! I'm wear testing the 8's and I just got them in the mail today. It's been awhile since I've put on a pair of running shoes and liked them from the get go. The real test will be on my long run this weekend, but I think they'll do fine.

Running (roads) 1:25:00 [3] 9.2 mi (9:14 / mi)
shoes: Fastwitch 5

3 Run to the top of Deerpass and back. I want to start doing a mid week med/long run again. I didn't do the Collins portion today because I'm still allowing myself to take it a little easy this week. Besides that I spent 8 hours today planting at work which is equal to 8 hours worth of squats and body weight dead lifts.

Running (roads) 1:06:00 [3] 7.1 mi (9:18 / mi)
shoes: Fastwitch 5

2 Legs felt pretty good today. Only a little tired. I'm thinking that not feeling good during my race sunday was probably a blessing in disguise. Usually if I race a race, and I usually do, it'll take me out of regular volume training for a good two weeks. I can't do that this time around. I need to start hitting it hard for KM100 now. So, great...
