Ran with Kenyan Way. I thought they were pacing about 7:30, so I pushed ahead. Ended up running near 7:10 pace vs. target of 7:19. Also 0.9 mi short of target distance. Garmin watch would help. Next year they'll be reasonable.

No matter what, it was a decent run in light of the fact I helped celebrate my wife's birthday last night.

NEED TO BETTER PREPARE FOR LONG RUNS!

Supposed to be a rest day, but after missing cross training the day before, decided on 5 min warm up, 3 sets bench, 3 sets lat pulldown, and three sets of crunches, side crunches, and incline board crunches. Followed by 5 min stretching.

Wow. Totally gassed after run last night. Friday off day is definitely needed. Anytime I got up to 7:30/mi my legs (and head) wouldn't respond and shifted right back down to 8:30.

3 x 2mi intervals. Couldn't tell how far I was going, so just ran 11 min very hard and 4 min between intervals. About .75 mi warm up and warm down.

Pushed pretty hard in class. Really getting in good shape. Class would have killed me three months ago.
