Well deserved rest day. Lower legs, just below calf sore after the 22 yesterday. I went with a shoe with some heel yesterday. I think that was a good choice, as the calves are not totally smarting like they were two weeks ago.

Running program I'm on has these really long runs for the Marathon. I'll keep doing them as long as I don't have to really scale back on speed workouts during the week. I did two loops through the Heights with kenyanway.com runners, but most people were off today for the Houston Rodeo Run 10k. I couldn't fit it in with the Boston training, so I ended up running alone the last ten miles in Memorial Park. Not the best run not having someone to push me that last ten, but what the heck.

Legs still felt tired/sore this morning. I've increased the mileage too quickly. Need to back off tomorrow and just do cross training. Also need to get to bed early to try and generate some recovery in the muscles. Eating a lot of good proteins and carbs all day to try and help.
