Time trial. After warming up on Pierce Butler, I kept pushing. Up to the exit from CLT onto Glenwood, I was at 31 km/h average speed. Waiting for lights to change reduced this rather quickly to an average of 29.5 km/h. Also a higher AHR than usual. Giving myself an e for effort.

A steamy one. Dogs did not seem to mind. Walked with a few jogging intermissions. Took the dogs about 10 minutes in the air conditioned house to cool down and stop panting. Since we humans sweat, I was better off.

Biking Commuting 32:17 intensity: (2:14 @1) + (4:42 @2) + (11:24 @3) + (5:48 @4) + (8:09 @5) 13.94 km (2:19 / km) +68m 2:16 / km

Downright hot this afternoon. The wind always eddies around the stadium and highrise buildings along CLT and it's hard to tell from where the wind is coming. Along the river, it was definitely coming straight at me. I was 4:00 slower than this AM but My AHR was 147 instead of 142. So an E (not an e) for Effort ;-)
