First time frost on the windshield, had to use deicer before I got going. Beautiful morning, mist on the lakes and ponds and in the depressions. The sun burned it off quickly. Program today was long slow distance. Went up Indian Trail first, dropped a layer at the car, then 15th Street twice, first to Manning, then to Neal, before turning around. ran into our friends Elsbeth and Eric, who had given us some pointers on the Border Route. We checked in with them on our test run a couple of weeks ago. Also crossed paths with Karl's acquaintances Jay and Peter.
Good workout and a gorgeous morning to be out.

For our daily walk, we have two options to climb to the level of the RR from the Energy Park lot, going straight up the embankment with lots of wild growth, or going past the steam plant to walk on the shortly cropped lawn. The wild side wins out 50 to 1. Mellie decided that she's too old for the walk on the wild side and automatically heads for the manicured way.
