Two hours of mostly L1/L2 skiing at Afton, pretty much a repeat of last weeks, but on skate roller skis. As we were putting on our gear near the intersection of 15th and Stagecoach, our friend Ron came down the hill. he was out on classic roller skis. Turned out he was the right man at the right time, I had forgotten my helmet and he lives just a couple miles up the hill. He kindly came with us and lend me one of his. Other than that, not much to report. Few cars, compared to last week. Skating rather than striding, we were a little faster. No morning fog and no frost this AM but a strong wind from the E to S quadrant. Interestingly, some of the cornfields had been harvested. No need for a grain drier this year. A very pleasant workout.
