Windy and warm morning, low at home was around 14 °C. First skate workout in a while. Went up 15th to Manning, to get the open area done. Then to Indian Trail. On the downhill stretch heading N, I somehow lost control over the directions my skis were taking. I headed for the ditch and decided to sit down instead of hitting a culvert. My rear end scraped along the pavement for quite a distance, this was definitely my only high speed crash on roller skis. Still trying to figure out what happened, I was in a tuck, going fast and all of the sudden my skis got squirrely. The only thing I can think of is that I got my weight too far back. Anyway, my arse looks like that of a baboon, and I have a few scraped knuckles. But I felt otherwise fine certainly good enough to continue with the workout, which was less than halfway done. Finished Indian and Tomahawk Trails and then did 15th another time, up to Neal this time.
