Based on what I saw during our hike yesterday afternoon, I decided to run the entire loop. Took the shorter Beaudry Motorway North up and came down the Motorway South. As expected, getting from 375 m to 885 m elevation over ~4 km required a relentless climb along many switchbacks. The way down, about 6 km, followed a ridge affording beautiful views Encountered a few hikers, mountain and gravel bikers on the way up. Rewarded by beautiful views of Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank and the surrounding hills. Took a few walking breaks on the way up. The way down was hard on my quads, but bearable.
