Today I had planned an easier day since yesterday was longer. The plan was to run the northern half of the 1 km radius circle since this has the greatest potential for being right on the line..In theory, the diameter + half a circle should have been 5.14 km...When I finished I was 6.5 km and felt ok so with ~ 4 minutes for the "normal' running time I went after getting Gold Crescent, which would just be an annoyance at another time...made it with 13 sec to go!
The semicircle was about 30%off which is pretty much what the initial radius km was... Probably could have trimmed a bit off the last radius by going up High street (which I had briefly considered at the time) but their will still be stumbling block around Lincoln Fields shopping center and Regina school. The appartments at LF locked off the gate I planned to go through so that was really the only snafu this AM....
Cool AM but sunny and warmed up nicely.
Fun run with many terrain elements (grass, dirt hills, WHS swamp, rough fields,...)

Colder morning...~-2C with-6C windchill...
Today was the map memory 1 km radius circle experiment...ran the radius then the circumference and walked in (below). Saw the fox at close range @ split 2....and got caught at Michelle Park where they fixed the hole in the fence....The start should have actually been on the other side of the Queensway which is exactly 1 km from the house according to route gadget/osm....Studying the map again I see a few spots to hug the circumference closer but crossing the 417 at the 4H- parkway end still poses a problem....So today my theoretical 2 pi km circle was more like 9.56 km....
Picked up a more few streets in the 2.5 km circle though...
