Orienteering race 1:02:20 [4] 5.0 mi (12:28 / mi)
shoes: VJ Integrator (ex Lulu)

DVO Shining Cliff.
Short Brown course. 6.4km, 265m.
Nearly didn't go because my chest wasn't feeling good at all. Glad I did as it was only the long leg where I had the chance to push the pace. Navigation mostly good with only small wobbles with the exception of #15 where i spent 3 mins searching about 100m east of where i should have been.
First experience of SI air. No problems.

Note

More crazy golf with Mick and Andy. Very hard predicting the bounce on hard frozen fairways. Somehow managed 45 Stableford points (20/25).

Thursday Jan 26, 2017 #

8 AM

Note

Golf with Andy and Mick. Probably the coldest weather I've ever played in (-2 plus windchill). A real struggle to keep warm. Played OK considering. 44 Stableford points (22/22).
4 PM

Trail running 43:00 [3] 5.0 mi (8:36 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 1080v4

Arrunden circuit. All OK.

Tuesday Jan 24, 2017 #

Note

Golf with Mick and Andy. Winter greens again. 52 Stableford points (27/25).
3 PM

Trail running 26:00 [3] 3.0 mi (8:40 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 1080v4

Circuit of Digley to test my calf. All OK except maybe a slight tightness in the Achilles. Still think an easy week is in order without pushing any more boundaries.
6 PM

Gym 20:00 [2]

Garage circuits.
