Extended Digley loop. Some slight soreness in R ankle but no worse than Wednesday. Also the occasional twinge in L ankle.

Thursday Aug 31 #

8 AM

Golf with Mick and Roy. 31 Stableford points (14/17).
3 PM

Physio session with Kim. She found and loosened a tight tendon on the underside of my R foot.
Need to do some strengthening (calf raises) and balance exercises. Also gradually build up the running.

Wednesday Aug 30 #

5 PM

Trail running 26:00 [3] 3.0 mi (8:40 / mi)
shoes: Saucony ISO3

Test run around Digley.
R ankle gave a few twinges at first (mainly on downhills) but OK towards the end. Strangely my L ankle gave a few sharp twinges in exactly the same area right at the end. The pain is around the inside of the ankle bone and I still can't see how it can be an injury; rather some sort of nerve issue. We'll see what Kim has to say tomorrow.

Tuesday Aug 29 #

Golf. Pro's mid week comp. 36 Stableford points (14/22).
Very rusty start (2 points after 4 holes) but good thereafter. R ankle still causing discomfort.
1 PM

Golf. Carr Bowl matchplay knockout. Lost on the 18th. Reasonably happy after being 5 down with 6 to play.
