Achilles very noticeably sore first thing this morning for the first time in this injury episode. Not sure why it has reacted so badly now and not earlier? The initial injury was obviously as a result of running the Denis Stitt race 10 days ago but hasn't felt too bad until now.
At least I now can isolate where the pain is more accurately. It seems to be very low down, just above the bony part and on the inside of the tendon.
Must see Kim.

C/W Wessenden loop (as Tuesday). Very strong westerly making progress up to the Isle of Skye very slow.
Achilles sore initially but not so bad by the end.

Laps of the rec. Testing Achilles. OK to start but getting sore by the end. Lots of stretching before and ice after.

Achilles now very sore. Hobbling round the course . Ticking the box.

Did this a few times when I was travelling up to Kendal every week and it's one of my favourites. A bit windy today.
