Standard MTB loop. Mild and windy but just about found a window in the rain.
Good times for the climb up Ramsden (must have had some wind behind) but slow and hard work elsewhere. This was my first ride on the MTB since the MTBO and my front tyre was flat. A bit surprised (and disappointed) since I've just gone tubeless (at great expense) but simply put some more air in and set off. Seem to have survived and will wait with interest to see if goes flat again...

Controlling at Storthes Hall. Easy jog around the controls with Simon. First time a Planner has joined me on Controlling duty. Very stop/start.
Achilles fine. L calf gradually seizing up but never into full spasm.

3 x 7 mins (2-3 min walk) around Digley. Achilles slightly grumbly but OK. L calf still threatening to go into spasm.

Pilates instructor still ill. Did some stretching at home instead.
Achilles just a little grumbly today. Felt fine during yesterday's walk but the ground surface was a mixture of frozen lumpy stuff, slippery ice and slippery mud. Hopefully ok by tomorrow after an extra day off.

3.5 hours walking but not brisk enough to merit logging.

Golf. Saturday comp. Two man Stableford with Neil. Team score of 32 points for the 15 holes.
Not swinging well. Definitely adversely affected by stiffness from yesterday's bike ride.

3 x 9 mins (2 min walk) around the Underhill circuit. Achilles good but L calf still threatening to go into spasm. Legs not surprisingly very heavy after yesterday.

4 x 10 heel raises. R leg only. Feeling ready to start with weights.
