Anticlockwise loop of the Black Hill plateau to watch some of the leaders in the Spine Race. Bumped into Mike Fanning who was spectating at the trig. Kudos to the Spine racers; it's a long way to Kirk Yetholm and the weather could be better. ..
Golf. Pro's mid week comp. 33 Stableford points (17/16). Unsurprisingly a bit rusty but not too bad in windy conditions. Feel like I may have strained muscles in my left side and right foot.

Digley. Felt like a lot of effort but at least it was pretty much niggle free.
Great two week block of training. Sensible amount of running supplimented by plenty of cycling. Achilles seems fine. Good start to M55. Now back to the standard routine. 3-4 running sessions per week supplimented with pilates, circuits and shoulder strengthening. Will endeavour to continue with one bike ride a week as well. Oh, and some golf :-)
