DEE 'National' Middle Distance event, Bickerton Hill.
Black course, 5.9 km 185m.
First visit to this area for about 40 years. As pleasant as I remembered but pretty straightforward. No real loss of time, just slightly off the pace as to be expected.

Arrunden circuit. Very wet underfoot and struggling for grip so a bit of a plod. Probably just as well because still being cautious with back to back days.

Dead Edge End and back from Holme Moss. Strong SW wind and very wet underfoot. Slowest time ever. The difference was all on the way back into the wind.
