South to Oughtibridge (via the windmills and Green Moor) and back via High Bradfield and Midhopestones.
Lots of cyclists out.

Black Hill via Goodbent Lodge, Holme Moss, round Ramsden Clough. Deserted except for the odd mountain biker on Black Hill.
11 miles, 3 hours 50.

Standard Huddersfield, Buckstones, Denshaw, Greenfield route. Slow (and cold) into the westerly wind but quick coming back over from Dovestones.
Bike running smoothly after a service.

Hinchcliffe Mill, Flush House. L calf sore again after about a mile so eased off. Gave up at Digley and walked home. Back to the bike...

Trying out a new loop equivalent to Digley but without gates, etc. A bit long but will have to do. Calf good.
