Sunday Nov 22 #

11 AM

Note
(rest day)

Janet was going to Greetland for a run so I went along for the ride. Walk exploring Dean Clough Woods. I quite like that place. 4 miles, 1.5 hours.

Saturday Nov 21 #

1 PM

Terrain running 55:00 [3] 4.5 mi (12:13 / mi)
shoes: VJ Integrator (blue)

C/W loop of Yateholme in the terrain starting and finishing at the picnic site. Wild, wet and windy but fun.

Road running 18:00 [3] 2.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 780v3

There and back.

Friday Nov 20 #

10 AM

Mountain Bike 1:00:00 [2] 11.0 mi (5:27 / mi)
shoes: Shimano AM9 MTB SPD

Recovery ride around some local lanes.

Thursday Nov 19 #

11 AM

Trail running 1:05:00 [3] 7.0 mi (9:17 / mi)
shoes: Saucony ISO3

Blackpool Bridge circuit. All good.
2 PM

Note

Such a nice afternoon I went for a little walk to ease the legs off. Calves appreciated it, foot less so. More painful than at any point during the run. 4 miles, 1.5 hours.

Wednesday Nov 18 #

10 AM

Gym 20:00 [2]

Garage circuits.

Tuesday Nov 17 #

10 AM

Road bike 2:30:00 [2] 32.0 mi (4:41 / mi)
shoes: Shimano AM9 MTB SPD

Greenfield, Stalybridge, Glossop, Holme Moss.
Strong SW wind which made the ride over the A635 a bit of a struggle. Didn't seem to benefit on the climb up Holme Moss though.

Note: I've noticed that I have a hard lump on the inside edge of my L calf (adjacent to the shin bone). I have tried massaging it and using the foam roller but to no effect. In normal circumstances I would be booking a session with Richard H.

Monday Nov 16 #

12 PM

Gym 20:00 [2]

Garage circuits.
3 PM

Trail running 27:00 [3] 3.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
shoes: Saucony ISO3

Cruise up and down the valley. Still nervous about running consecutive days. Foot good. Calves a little tight.
