Underhill, Digley loop picking up the obvious turfs along the way. Failed to get the one on north edge of Digley because the tide is too far in at present. Slow obviously.

Decided to see what all the fuss about this Turf thing is. Looked like a high density in Huddersfield so headed there. A loop around Golcar, then Quarmby, Lindley and Edgerton before coming back through the town centre. Out for a total of 4.5 hours but only 3 hours moving time which sums it up nicely. Not sure I'll be doing much more of this.

Black Hill and back from Holme Moss. Variable depth snow with a frozen crust. Very wet under the covering of snow. Out with Louise but she ran home from Black Hill while I returned to the car.

Holmfirth via Acre Lane and back on main road. Running water everywhere. Nice and steady. All niggles ok except for the fact that my R ankle locked up on the descent into Holmfirth causing me to hobble somewhat after that.
