Road running race 1:07:57 [5] 13.15 mi (5:10 / mi) +80m 5:04 / mi

Inverness Half. Good run overall. Basically tried to hang on to the fast guys for as long as possible to avoid running in the wind. Went well until the pack broke up at about 9 miles then some people dropped back others pulled away. Legs were getting tired after 7 miles, never ran on such flat ground for so long! Ended up coming 6th and taking over 3mins off the pb. Won't be rushing to do another road half marathon anytime soon

From Balmoral, over some of the small hills with the cairns then up glen gelder and partway up one of the hillsides. Testing the legs. Found this small bridge over quite a deep dry gorge in the forest, was pretty cool.

10 mile loop from home. Went at a comfortable pace, felt good til halfway then the calf started tightening up on the long downhill bits. It definitely doesn't like road. Hopefully I can get round Inverness without it bothering me
