Trail running race 51:53 [5] 9.65 mi (5:23 / mi) +60m 5:16 / mi

Deeside duathlon, doing the running section for Bert from shooting greens to Crathes bridge. Had to wait around in the sun for an hour because they started late in Braemar. I ended up having a decent run, overtook around 12 folk to set Bert off in the lead at Crathes. I started off quick running the first 3 miles in 14.53 (gradual downhill) then levelled off at 5.35/mile. Some of the exposed bits were tough going in the heat. Bert had a great final leg on the bike and stayed ahead of everyone. Scott Neyedli won overall as he started behind Bert in Braemar.

Hill running 1:30:58 [3] 11.14 mi (8:10 / mi) +800m 6:41 / mi

Another hot day, seem to be getting used to it which is great. Normally the heat ruins my racing so hopefully this can prepare me for the summer. 4 climbs of scolty and goauch. Not feeling too bad, climbing and descending ok.

Hill running 1:29:53 [3] 9.8 mi (9:10 / mi) +1000m 6:58 / mi

3 laps of the main climb up Bennachie with a more gradual descent then flat section. Was planning on using it for a hard run to practice for the 3 lap euro trial. The temperature was 25 degrees at the bottom which was a complete shock to the system. I was running hard but it felt slow and painful in the heat
7 PM

Trail running 15:35 [4] 2.78 mi (5:36 / mi) +60m 5:15 / mi

Quick blast round the woods. Went at an ok pace but could have gone quicker, had a bit of a stitch
