A few times up Scolty and Goauch. Didn't venture any further as the ice was really bad. Felt a bit tired in the legs, I think the ice shoes make my legs more tired after hitting harder ground. Great conditions with no wind and completely cloud free

Round Brathens woods. Slight covering of fresh snow on the open paths, soft mud everywhere else. Felt good, legs feeling fresh. Did strides at the end.

Twice up Scolty, had to use the head torch for the last one. Luckily I wore my oroc shoes with metal spikes for this run. All the snowy bits had melted and frozen in to black ice with a light covering of powder. Managed not to slide though

From Finzean to Banchory through woods then over Toms cairn, Goauch and Scolty. Lots of short sharp climbs. The ground was quite uneven and frozen solid just after Toms cairn

4 times up Scolty, once up Goauch. Good to be back on softer terrain with mud and vegetation, not baked clay. Left knee feeling a bit sore possibly from running on hard uneven ground for a few days
