Trail running 1:49:45 [3] 15.32 mi (7:10 / mi) +620m 6:22 / mi

From Glen tanar round the long Deeside runners loop with an extra out and back section up one of the hills. Went back towards the car park then along the river, over Craigendinnie hill and back to Aboyne on the fungle path. Really good conditions for running in the forest. Would have been nice to go up a bigger hill but the snow was really deep out the forest

A few climbs of Scolty and Goauch. Climbing well and descending fast too. Conditions much better. Snow vanishing quickly

Out and about on the mountain bike. Stopped off at crathes

Had to take some photos at Crathes for a report so made sense to stick in a run as well. Went round the ley way path with a few added bits and some strides on the grass by the castle

Two climbs of Scolty. Plenty snow out the trees so no need for head torch. Feeling a bit stiff at the start but legs got moving after a mile or two

Warm up run then strides and cool down. Tired from working

Trail running warm up/down 1:01:29 [3] 8.03 mi (7:39 / mi) +280m 6:54 / mi

In to college from Westhill over Brimmond hill then cool down run through west woods after the session. Quite a bit of ice and snow around though melting quickly in the sun

Trail running intervals 19:29 [5] 3.75 mi (5:12 / mi) +150m 4:37 / mi

6 x 1km (3min jog recovery). Used the path going gradually uphill next to the road through Craibstone. Ran 500m going slightly uphill then turned and did 500m back down. On the last one I did the full 1km uphill. Felt good on all of them. Legs moving quickly

A few times up Scolty and once up Goauch, strides at the end. Legs feeling surprisingly good. Was snowing quite a lot and drifting on the top.

Through Aberdeen to the sports village as warm up then cooldown run from there to Craibstone. Found a nice cycle route through some surprisingly nice bits by the Don

Road running intervals 11:08 [5] 2.5 mi (4:27 / mi)

4 x 200, 2 x 400, 800, 2 x 400, 4 x 200 on the ASV track. Recovery jog of equal distance. Not a bad session. Strong wind on the home straight as always

Round Kirkhill, Elrick and Brimmond. Running with Oleg and Sasha so plenty tough terrain thrown in. Quite a bit of slushy snow on the exposed ground. Legs feeling much better.
