Trail running warm up/down 24:00 [2] 3.0 mi (8:00 / mi) +60m 7:32 / mi

Warm up run from the games field over the first half of the race route and round the fields

Hill running race 28:30 [4] 4.67 mi (6:06 / mi) +220m 5:19 / mi

Invercharron highland games hill race. Small race with only 25 runners but a very nice wee hill. Didn't check out the short cuts so decided not to risk taking any, sometimes they aren't even any quicker. I started fast and had a decent lead at the start of the ascent then ran on the path all the way up and down. Looking back on it I was stupid not to check out at least a few of the short cuts. Probably could have got very close to the record. It was a pretty comfortable win and I didn't have to take any risks. Really enjoyed the course
