Several days spent reading in preparation for a very intense course this weekend in Air Operations for SAR. Bulk of the reading is the roughly 1000 pages of reports to the United States National Transportation Safety Board concerning the New Mexico Department of Public Safety helicopter "606" crash in June 2009. I worked the 3rd day of that incident, the body recovery phase.
