Running 18:41 [4]

B'water parkrun

Had to weave around a gaggle of geese on the first lap - Andy ahead of me had to do the same thing so at least I got a bit of warning. Then accidentally collided with another runner as I was overtaking on the narrow section near the end. (She moved sideways in front of me at the last second and I couldn't brake in time. Both stayed on our feet so could've been worse. My fault as I should've waited; made sure to find her afterwards and apologize.)

Reasonable time considering.

MABAC @ Denbies

The front two broke off early and I decided not to try to stick with them. I pulled away from the rest on the first long climb and ran solo from then on. Never seemed like I was reeling in second, and never heard/saw anyone close behind me, so think I got everything about right.

Pleasant evening for it and a fun undulating course with good views over to Box Hill.

Running 5:05 [2]

Racing tonight reminded me that this time last year I could only spectate due to having a big hole in my neck. Might do a really boring 'one year later' training retrospective at some point. Consider yourselves warned...
