Friday May 4

Note
Kentucky Breakfast Stout (tap 3 redbones) has a very strong, slightly offensive coffee flavor. Not recommended. The triple... (tap 20) was strong but not very flavorful. Both came as 10.5oz, meaning I had just over a beer!

Thursday May 3

Softball intervals 30:00 [3]
weight:181lbs shoes: Montail Masai Red
Practice. Good to see everyone playing. There was enough people for two full teams. Starting to hit. Still getting sore from the workout.

Taking Wed. off was a good idea. Legs and head feel much better.

Tuesday May 1

Event: CSU Boston Park Series - Pine Banks

Road Run warm up/down 30:00 [2] 2.0 mi (14:59 / mi)
shoes: Brooks trail
Run from Kendall to Community College to catch the train (and back). Also biked to work (bike needs work too)
Orienteering 28:00 [4] 3 km (9:20 / km)
weight:180lbs shoes: Intergrators
Pine Bank in Malden/ Melrose. Possibly the worst outting since the Late Gari course. Then I was hungover. I didn't feel very well this time either, stomach was upset. Legs felt tight.

Group of about 5 people running a sprint. Ross, John, Kim, and two others. Everyone was fast. Normally I would have gone right around the hill to one. Instead straight up the hill. Made a 90 deg mistake out of 1. Started to get upset and was zoning out. Punched a control with a 2 on it. When I got halfway to 3 I figured out that was a beginner control (probably 21). Bad route to 3. Didn't see a trail to 4. Went too far for 5. Took a wrong trail to 6. Gave up and had a clean, albeit slow, rest of the course. My head was just out of it. MP2 so my second DNF in my life.

Twisted right ankle pretty good.

Monday Apr 30

Softball 20:00 [3]
shoes: Montail Masai Red
Small coefficent on softball (actual time 2hrs). Lots of throwing and some sprinting. Legs felt really strong but tight. Couldn't sleep at all at night. Tired but heart was racing every time I thought of anything.

Sunday Apr 29

Road Run 20:00 [4] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Radius6
Run to field near Alewife. Did some plyos ran home. It has been a long time since I tried to jump.
