Rained in both directions, after looking dry when I set off each time. A bit wet.

Metro League at Cattai NP

Surprisingly technical, picking the routes through the lantana and lots of rock, best Metro League planning for a few seasons.

Messed up #1, then had Daniel Hill on my tail for a few legs which I ran too hard, not really in contact, but I got away with it. Dumb en route to #4 - didn't know how far along the rock line I was, so I ran along iot to make sure I got the control.

Felt heart rate going out of control pushing up a hill early - probably should warm up for longer.

Supposed to be my first 70 minute run, but I over-did it. A shock to the system, had to walk last km home and am now consuming as much of fridge contents as my pumpkin soup injuries can stand.

Run to work. Two layers of cotton. Probably about this time of year in the UK that my lily-white legs would have been seeing the sun for he first time.

R achilles a little sore.
