orienteering race 17:58 [4] 3.0 km (5:59 / km) +65m 5:24 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (#3)

Sydney Sprint #1, Carss Park.
Fun - park/bush (near tracks). Could have been harder, but I lost over 90 seconds at final control anyhow, which was dumb as I wasted the first 5 of those slowing right down to make sure I didn't blow it.

Into the water afterwards (Georges River, well tidal) making 4 post-O swims from the last 4 events.

cycling 2:20:00 [3] 36.0 km (3:53 / km)

PDs rite - managed to pull off a clipped in stationary fall and an endo, but I think I got away with it. Good fun. Memo to self 30psi.

Must try to revert to the ride runrun ride sandwich.

Hot and sweaty, even on the way in. 25 peeps n the bike path section - a couple looked like New Year resolutions.

orienteering 47:00 [3] * 8.0 km (5:53 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 1000 #2

SSS at Longreef

Wish I'd spent my time at the beach instead. Very hot (30+) and I'd decided to go for the lot an wear some penalties, so I did the low rental part first, but was so fed up at 40 minutes (actually by 20 minutes) that I came to the finish before hitting the easy cash part.

Dip in the sea afterwards was nice.

Worrying about Simon getting faster than me.
