Reverse Akuna.
Bike computer had a flat battery and I know how it felt.

Met grilla at Pentecost, but she turned back at the triangle. I should probably have done the same. Damp air, cold (about10), never warmed up and felt grotty. Then on the way back there was a howling headwind most of the way along Mona Vale road and part of Pacific. A grind.

Another surprising gem.
Too wet to ride so I dragged Lyra off to Saturday orienteering which I though would be based at Killarney Heights high school and would run round the (dark, damp) tracks nearby.

But... Barb had set the courses on a 1:2000 map entirely in the high school grounds. Lyra knocked over the 2.3km and really enjoyed it, while I did the long course, which had some multi-level stuff on a break-out bit of map (grilla, take note).

Fun.
