Sassafras gully walk, last walk in Australia before we go to to KL. Amazing range of funghi out.

Thought I'd sneak in a bit of work, but there were some showers, so I walked out E to see what was happening at that end of the map. The weird open area is fenced off and the pistol club have put up a small sign trying to discourage people from using the main track.

Did find a few areas that are runnable with a stack of rock, one was something I mapped years ago in a bodge-up job, the other is nearby. Progressed existing mapping into this area.

New BT GPS is the bees knees. Using a bigger tablet is also good, but probably need some more protection/carry device for it.

Happy its stopped raining, but never really got into the groove for this lunch-time run, feeling a bit stiff. Even got lost in the long grass at the athletic track trying to find the path.

Getting better each time - bought TWO styluses and lost/broke zero.

Had an OOM layer set up for fieldwork and drew the rock straight onto that layer, using the scribble template for vegetation.

Added the OL-LAser output for cliffs (better that Kartapullatin), relief (great when I was in the shade) and intensity, which I didn't really use (yet).

Note

New str8 magnifier arrived today. Pretty mind-blowing 2x (?) magnification. Problem will be if it swings out of the way when I don't need it and whether I remember to use/stop using it. Guess I'll test it at the Middle Earth races for the first time.
