10 AM

orienteering race 33:58 [3] 5.07 km (6:42 / km) +54m 6:22 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (#6 Fluro)

Metro League 5, Caterson Park
Not much warm up and not much spring in my legs, running well after the last start of ML, so finding the controls on my own. Worst mistakes were probably 1st and last controls, on 1st I took back through start route choice and on the last I left the safety of the road too early, bush bashed and hit some unmapped rock, probably lost a few minutes there.

cycling 2:24:56 [3] 64.25 km (2:15 / km) +849m 2:07 / km
shoes: Trek Roadie

BF ride - big group Jock, Simon, Hamish, Cam, Jason, Guenter, Peter and guest appearance (for about 2km) by Lucy, Ferg and Matt.

Jock turned back at bottom of hill, then Cam and I were at back, at tail of NSCC bunch and Cam flatted, about 400m on from where I had to fix my derailleur last week. Oing will laugh.

Some discussion on etiquette - nobody waited at the top of the hill...

run 41:47 [3] 6.39 km (6:32 / km) +126m 5:57 / km
shoes: Asics GT 1000 #4

Fairylands. Again didn't ever feel as though I had warmed up. Nice to be out of the office though.

run 1:26:24 [3] 12.16 km (7:06 / km) +215m 6:32 / km
weight:73.4kg shoes: ASICS GT 1000 #5

Fairly tired and set off without much of a plan, so the idea of a long run faded. Hot in sun, cool in the shade and I never really warmed up.
