weight:73.8kg shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212 (#7 Black)

86% humidity, thought I'd get out early for a cool run but the sweatiness wore me down. 72.4kg when I got back.

Berry Island return - a nice longer run.

cycling 2:20:10 [3] 65.5 km (2:08 / km) +976m 2:00 / km
slept:7.5 weight:73.8kg shoes: Trek Roadie

Humidity breaking into drizzle, flats everywhere, uphill the whole way, I got my flat before I got up the drive. Eventually caught Nick after showground, he was slow riding for Cam to catch. But wasn't doing the loop. Hard Yakka, some hare and tortoise with angry (3+ flats) NSCC.

run 54:34 [3] 7.79 km (7:00 / km) +173m 6:18 / km
shoes: ASICS GT 1000 #5

Damned sweaty.
Did see half a dozen tiny robins by Fullers bridge and an Eastern Whipbird later (they are so cool).

I never knew that the whipbird sound is often made by two birds co-ordinating: "Its whip-crack call is a characteristic of many of the moist forests in eastern Australia. The unusual feature of this call is that it is often performed by two birds calling in unison, with one bird contributing the first part of the call and another giving the second part. This so-called ‘antiphonal’ calling involved great co-ordination between the two birds to give the call its familiar whip-crack sound."

Monday Jan 22 #

RTW - trying to sneak in some runs to work this heatwave week.
Felt sore from last night's event.
